KUCHING: More than 50,000 visitors are expected at the ‘Satu Daerah Satu Industri’ (SDSI) programme from Aug 29 to Sept 1 at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (Maeps).
Held in conjunction with ‘Minggu Usahawan Nasional’ (MUN) 2019, the event will be declared open by the Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad on Aug 29.
The event expects to draw 3,000 entrepreneurs while hoping to introduce and promote products and services nationwide under one roof.
A total of 330 entrepreneurs and cooperatives have been selected throughout the state (including the Federal Territory for the first time) will be involved in the programme.
Traditional food preparation will also be held during the Malaysia Kitchen exhibition.
Thirty-six entrepreneurs from Sarawak will take part in the programme covering four clusters, namely food and beverage (24), craft products (seven), homestay (two) and services and health (three).
