KUCHING: A farmer died after he collided with a car along KM1, Jalan Ulu Roban on Wednesday night. Richat Lanying from Rh Bagus, Plassu, Kabong, aged 45 died on the spot from head and abdominal injuries.
Sarawak head of Traffic, Supt Alexson Naga Chabu said initial investigation revealed that the car driver, aged 22, who was travelling from Selalang to Roban collided with Richat who was riding a motorcycle on the opposite direction.
Both of them ended up in a ditch with the driver escaping unhurt. Richat was pronounced dead by paramedics from Saratok Hospital who responded to a distress call about the accident.
