KUCHING : Singapore’s Minister of Trade and Industry cum Minister of Education Chee Hong Tat yesterday visited Stutong Community Market accompanied by Kuching South City Council (MBKS) mayor Datuk James Chan. Chee got to greet and meet the traders at the market for a good one and half hours.
He said the wide variety of local products that included vegetables and fruits should make the market a must-visit place for tourists. Chee also had the opportunity to taste some local special cuisine including Sarawak Laksa and Kolok Mee which he said he loved so much.
