SIBU: A sum of RM1.8 million is allocated to improve Jalan Then Kung Suk and Jalan Upper Lanang from the Lada Road Junction to Jalan Then Kung Suk in the second half of this year.
According to the Chairman of the Sibu Municipal Council (SMC), Datuk Tiong Thai King, the fund is specially allocated for the Dudong Constituency to implement the two projects.
“In this respect, the council is going to proceed with the improvement work for Jalan Then Kung Suk and Jalan Upper Lanang from Lada Road Junction to Jalan Then Kung Suk in the second half of this year,” he told the full council meeting of the SMC here yesterday.
