MARUDI: A hunter who was reported missing in Sungai Pelutan jungle Long Miri, Baram three days ago, has been found safe.
Ajang Lawai, 42, was found by several workers of a nearby logging camp around 11am on Saturday.
He has been brought back to his village.
Ajang had lost his way while trying to exit from the jungle.
He was fortunate, that several logging workers from a nearby camp found him.
On October 2 around 8.30pm, Ajang and his hunting buddy had gone into the jungle to hunt for wild animal.
When he failed to return home the next day, his friend alerted the authority and a search and rescue (SAR) operation was launched to look for him.
