When asked by reporters on the number of TM customers and current coverage across the state, he said, “Currently, we have more than 100,000 customers. Our Unifi coverage expansion plan is still ongoing and we are prioritising areas that have Streamyx customers.
“We are now in Phase 3 of the expansion plan which is focusing on rural areas; Phase 1, town areas while Phase 2, suburban areas.
“Hopefully when everything goes well, every Streamyx customers will already be covered in the next one year and a half…they are encouraged to migrate over to Unifi once the coverage has already expanded to their areas.”
