KUCHING: Federal Inspector General of Police Secretariat head (Research and Development) Datuk Ramli Din (pic) has been appointed by Bukit Aman as the new Sarawak police commissioner.
The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) corporate communications head Datuk Asmawati Ahmad said Ramli, who is a former Sabah police commissioner, and Datuk Azman Yusof, the current Sarawak police commissioner, will switch roles.
The appointments will take effect on Dec 2.
