SERIAN: Kuching team emerged overall champion in the 39th state-level Pesta Persatuan Sukan dan Kebudayaan Perkhidmatan Pelajaran (PSKPP) held at the Serian Sports Complex here Thursday.
A total of 2,887 educators participated in the event which began last Sunday. Present to give away the prizes was state Education Department director Dr Azhar Ahmad. In the Football (veteran category) event, Serian was the overall winner. Second and third places went to Mukah and Betong, respectively.
Vernon Awan was named the Best Goalkeeper while Mc Alister Kudang (Top Scorer and Best Player). This year’s PSKPP saw 13 contingents competing in 20 events.
