SARIKEI: The National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK) detained 10 men during ‘Ops Perdana’ here after they were tested positive for drugs.
According to a spokesperson, a total of 11 individuals underwent urine tests at various areas in the division on Thursday.
Following the results of the urine tests, ten men aged between 19 and 40 years tested positive for syabu. All detainees rounded up will be investigated under Section 3(1) of the Drug Dependants (Treatment and Rehabilitation) Act 1983.
The agency urged members of the public with any information regarding drug abuse activities to channel such information to their nearest AADK office.
