KUCHING: A national table tennis player Tay Lynn Jia who is a Form 5 student of SMK Batu Lintang here has received an excellence in co-curriculum award from the school.
She has been a table tennis champion at school, state and national levels for the past several years.
She was a champion in the Milo Malaysia Junior and Cadet Table Tennis Championship at national-level in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2019.
She also won the national-level table tennis tournament organised by Malaysia Schools Sports Council (MSSM) in 2018 and 2019.
She was the champion in the 53rd Malaysia Table Tennis Championship at national level in 2017, and took the title again in 2018 and 2019.
At the international level, she came in third in the 1st Hornbill Cup International Table Tennis Championship which was held in here last August.
