KUCHING: The Padawan International 4×4 Challenge 2017 will be held from 21 to 23 July 2017 at Bengoh Resettlement Scheme (BRS).
Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) Chairman Lo Khere Chiang announced this at a press conference held at MPP headquarters, yesterday.
Sixty teams worldwide will take part in the event which is expected to be closed by Chief Minister Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg.
The entrance fee for the Padawan International 4×4 Challenge 2017 is RM2.00 per head.
The proceeds will be given to the village security and development committee (JKKK) of Kampung Bengoh.
The event organised by Padawan Municipal Council is sanctioned by Automobile Association Malaysia (AAM) .
It is the first and only sanctioned 4×4 international event in Malaysia.
The competition will be divided into three categories, Group A (full modification), Group B (Semi-modification) and Group C (Standard 4×4).
