MUKAH: The town is experiencing mild haze. Despite not considered hazardous, there is still concern that the situation may worsen.
A worker at a project site here said the atmosphere was quite hazy in the early
morning.
“From around 7am to 8am, the haze in this area is quite thick, but clears as the sun rises and the wind blows,” he said yesterday.
As at 11am, the atmosphere looked clear although a bit hazy.
The haze is believed to come from outside Mukah District as there was no report of open burning here in the last few days.
