Adelynna Yang’s musical journey
Adelynna Yang, 22, is a seasoned singer with over 10 years of experience. She has emerged as a dazzling talent from a young age.
Her musical journey began at the tender age of 7 when her sister Stephanie Yang ignited the spark of a singing passion within her. Around that time, her parents enrolled her in violin classes. At the age of 17, she completed her eighth-grade violin examination. This early inspiration set the stage for Adelynna’s musical odyssey, which was marked by numerous accolades and a profound love for the art.
Despite being 7 years old, she could effortlessly hum intricate melodies with clarity, expressing a wide range of musical emotions — from joyous and light-hearted tunes to soft, majestic, and even sorrowful compositions.
Her innate musicality and ability to convey profound emotions through her voice became evident early on.
Challenges in her musical journey
Adelynna’s musical journey, however, faced challenges during her early years. While she was in primary school, she noticed issues with her vocal cords, experiencing hoarseness whenever she sang. Concerned, her parents took her to otorhinolaryngology specialists.
As she entered the transitional phase of vocal change during adolescence, she found her voice becoming more manageable and stable, gradually overcoming the challenge.
Unexpectedly, as her confidence grew, Adelynna encountered criticism. Some started to question her voice. Facing these critiques was like plummeting into a bottomless abyss for her. Despite the adversity, she continuously reminded herself to persevere, refusing to give up even in the face of mockery; she did not want to disappoint her parents.
Adelynna emphasises that no one is perfect and that one’s attitude determines the heights one can reach. Grateful for both criticism and praise that have shaped her musical dedication, she faced the challenges with a mature mindset.
