KUCHING: An abandoned house at Rock Road that was razed for the fifth time is 50 per cent burned yesterday.
The last time the double storey house caught fire was on February 3 this year.
Fire and Rescue Department received a call and rushed its personnel to the scene at 5.47pm to put out the blaze.
Earler, it was a passerby who alerted firemen when he saw smoke billowing from the empty house.
It is not known who owns the place and why is it always on fire. The cause of yesterday’s fire is still under investigation.
