KUCHING: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg and wife, Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang visited several open houses in conjunction with Christmas on Tuesday.

The couple first visited the house of Yayasan Perpaduan Sarawak (YPS) chief executive Datuk Aloysius Dris and wife, Datin Teresa Bateman in Petra Jaya.

Clad in a batik shirt, Abang Johari spent about half an hour there before proceeding to the residence of Sarawak and Brunei Anglican Church Bishop Right Reverend Donald Jude in Jalan McDougall.

Accompanying the chief minister were Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, Welfare, Community Well-being, Women, Family and Childhood Development Minister Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah and husband, Datuk Dr Adi Badiozaman Tuah.
