KUCHING: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg broke the fast with senior state and federal civil servants at the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly (DUN) building here on Wednesday.

The event was held in full compliance with the pandemic standard operating procedures (SOPs) in view of the ongoing conditional movement control order (CMCO).

The ceremony was followed by ‘Solat Maghrib’, ‘Isya’ and ‘Solat Sunat Tarawih’ led by chief state Imam, Sahibul Fadillah Datuk Mustapha Kamal Ahmad Fauzi.

Also present were State Legislative Assembly Speaker Datuk Amar Mohd Asfia Awang Nassar, Assistant Minister in the Chief Minister’s Department (Islamic Affairs and DBKU) Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi, State Secretary Datuk Amar Jaul Samion, head of departments and other dignitaries.
