KUCHING: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg received a courtesy call from newly appointed director of Yayasan Sarawak, Mersal Abang Rosli and director of Health Department Sarawak, Datuk Dr Mohamed Sapian Mohamed at his office in Wisma Bapa Malaysia, yesterday.
The courtesy call was Mersal’s first official visit to Abang Johari since assuming the post on July 1.
Meanwhile, shortly after the courtesy call from Mersal, the chief minister received a similar call from Dr Mohamed Sapian who was previously the director of Pahang Health Department. He assumed the post of Sarawak Health director on June 14.
Dr Mohamed Sapian was accompanied by the deputy director of the Sarawak Health Department Dr Rosemawati Ariffin.
