KUCHING: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg believes that the economy is now recovering.
He said this can be seen from the impact and progress of the reopened sectors of the economy.
“I am confident that the economy will grow once the various sectors run smoothly,” he told reporters during his open house at Pullman Hotel here on the second day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
Abang Johari also thought that several projects delayed after the pandemic struck would progress quickly once they get revived.
To those who came to his open house, he thanked them, saying that it enabled him to share the blessings and goodness of the special occasion.
“I am so delighted to see the people who came to the open house. They are still cautious and mentioned that they care a lot about their health and safety.
“I also received a lot of visitors who expressed their gladness and appreciation for what the state government has done,” he said.
