SIBU: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) President and Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg will officially launch the PBB youth wing tomorrow (Oct 6).

Over 800 participants, including 600 youth members from 82 PBB divisions across Sarawak, are expected to attend the 2 pm ceremony.

According to Dalat PBB Youth chief and organising chairman Muhammad Nur Syafiq Wong Muhammad Nur Amirul Iskandar Wong, the PBB youth wing aims to foster greater youth involvement in politics, economy, education, culture, arts, and sports.

It also seeks to encourage youth participation in community activities and character development, while providing a platform for cooperation among youth movements in Sarawak.

For those interested in joining the PBB Youth Wing, membership is open to individuals aged 18 to 28.
Registration can be done through the ‘PBB1828’ app or by visiting any of the 82 PBB branch offices statewide.

Meanwhile, PBB Vice-President Datuk Dr Annuar Rapaee was seen personally overseeing preparations for the launch ceremony.

The Deputy Minister for Education, Innovation, and Talent Development was actively assisting the organising committee in welcoming the arriving delegates.
