Bukit Goram assemblyman Jefferson Jamit Unyat recently chaired the organising committee’s final meeting held at the conference room of Bletih State Complex on behalf of Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Datuk Amar Dr James Jemut Masing.

He said everything was set for the programnme.

Jamit pointed out that Rumah Robert had been chosen for the programme because of its strategic location at Nanga Sebatu, Batang Rajang which is between Kapit and Song district.

He added it would be very convenient for the people of the two districts to attend the function as the longhouse was accessible by road and river.

He added the 50-door modern and well-equipped longhouse would be able to accommodate a few thousand people who would come for the function.
