KUCHING: The Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sarawak (ACCCIS) led a group of committee members and representatives to visit the Hari Raya Aidilfitri open houses of Sarawak’s Head of State and Premier on the first day of the celebration.
According to ACCCIS in a press statement, the delegation was led by its president Kong Chiong Ung, visited Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg and his wife Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK).
Thereafter, the ACCCIS delegation also visited Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife Toh Puan Fauziah Mohd Sanusi at the Astana Negeri Sarawak.
Among those present were Deputy Secretary-General Yek Hock Siang and council members of ACCCIS, and representatives from Kuching Chinese General Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCGCCI).
