KUCHING Jalan Sultan Tengah near Sungai Jaong looks to be an accident-prone stretch.

Rural Electricity Assistant Minister Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman said something must be done to change that.

He said based on information from Kampung Santubong residents, accidents occurred every week in the area especially when it rained.

“Immediate action needs to be taken as this road is the main route to Kampung Santubong and Damai resort,” he said when visiting the accident-prone area.

Dr Abdul Rahman recommended installing more road signs along the stretch.
