KUCHING: An education officer who crashed his vehicle into a roadside lamppost on Saturday morning died on the way to the Samarahan Heart Specialist Hospital.
Radiman bin Junaidi, 46, from Kampung Baru, Kota Samarahan was heading towards Kuching. Near the KM10 roundabout, he lost control of his car and rammed it into a lamppost at the side of the road.
The accident happened at around 8am and an ambulance came to rush him to the Samarahan Heart Specialist Hospital. However, Radiman succumbed to his injuries before arriving at the hospital.
Sarawak Head of Traffic Investigation and Engorcement, Supt Alexson Naga Chabu confirmed the case and said it is being investigated under Section 41 (1) APJ 1987.The deceased’s wife is a school teacher and the couple had three children.
