SRI AMAN: A Publ ic Works Department pensioner, Adam bin Ahmad, was elected as the new chairman of Neighbourhood Area Committee (KRT) Zone 3 Kampung Muhibbah here during an election held recently.
Adam will succeed Dayang Noralam who gave way to the new committee. Abang Jamuludin Haji Yassin was elected deputy chiarman while Mohd Taufiq bin Mohd Said was appointed the secretary.
Mohiden Johan was appointed assistant secretary while Zilla binti Abdullah was appointed treasurer. Adam in a brief speech hoped that the new committee would give their full cooperation to him to ensure that all activities organised can be held successfully.
“I also appeal to the committee members to be proactive so that activities held can impact the lives of the residents,” he said Before the election was conducted Raml i Abu Sera was appointed as an election observer while the witness was Assistant Unity Officer of Sri Aman, Mohd Firdaus Ramlee.
