IF there is one real-life role model that actor Aedy Ashraf hopes to portray in a movie, it would be former Malaysian Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin.
The actor shared as much in an interview with a media outlet recently, saying that he has always been a fan of the now Hot FM radio presenter, known to many by his moniker KJ.
“I think that portraying a real-life character in a biopic would be a great challenge. It is something that I want to try. I think playing KJ would be great. I love his charisma and his strong character,” he said.
However, Aedy admitted that such a thing might not even materialise, but it is not wrong for him to dream.
“I have played fictional characters all my life. So, to play a real person, just like how Farid Kamil portrayed Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, would be a great challenge,” he added.
Meanwhile, last month, Hot FM announced that KJ will be extending his contract with Hot FM until December.
The news was announced by the Head of Hot FM’s Digital & Audio+ Content Series, Shah Hayatudin, saying that Khairy will also be extending his airing time from one hour to two.
