KUCHING: It is hoped that the Sarawak Aesthetic Group Gymnastics (AGG) Carnival 2024 will be held on a grander scale in the future.

Political Secretary to the Premier Kho Teck Wan said this in light of the success of the carnival, which is being held for the first time in the state.

She pointed out that children’s involvement in the sport not only promoted physical health but also taught them teamwork.

Kho delivers her speech.

“What is important now is that all participants need to enjoy and have fun with what they are doing while always giving their best efforts.

“I am confident that with the success of this first-ever carnival in Sarawak, it will be organised again in the future.

“Therefore, the organisers must continue to do their best. We are looking forward to a grander carnival next time,” she said.

Kho was representing Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian at the opening ceremony of the carnival at the Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) headquarters here yesterday (June 24)
