KUALA LUMPUR: Affin Invikta in collaboration with Top 30 Media, celebrated the remarkable achievements of Malaysia’s most influential women during the first-ever Affin Invikta x Malaysia’s Top 30 Women of Excellence Awards.

Held at the M Resort Hotel on Oct 21, the event honoured 30 women who have made impactful contributions across various fields, including education, arts, healthcare, and humanitarian work.

“The Affin Invikta x Malaysia’s Top 30 Women of Excellence Awards 2024 is about recognising women of excellence in Malaysia from various fields and backgrounds, all of whom have made significant contributions in areas such as humanitarian efforts, arts, culture and entrepreneurship,” said President and Group Chief Executive Officer of Affin Bank Berhad, Datuk Wan Razly Abdullah.

“At Affin, we are deeply committed to responsible banking with impact, and this celebration highlights the profound impact each of these women has made on both business and society.

“Affin is privileged to champion the strength, talent, and limitless potential of women, not just in Malaysia but on the global stage.”

Out of 235 nominees, the awards recognised exceptional leaders, with over 30 per cent being entrepreneurs who founded and led their companies.

Notable recipients included CEO of Christy Ng Sdn Bhd, Christina Mei Mei Ng; entrepreneur and social influencer, Marion Rose Caunter; Co-Founder of Project Girls 4 Girls, Izzana Salleh; and CEO and Founder of PlusVibes Group, Madiha Fuad.

Special accolades were presented to distinguished figures such as:

  • Lifetime Achievement Award: Founder of Nicol David Organisation, Datuk Nicol Ann David.
  • Humanitarian and Community Service Award: President of the National Cancer Society of Malaysia, Datuk Dr. Saunthari Dharmalingam.
  • Entrepreneur of the Year Award: Co-Founder of Supermax Corp Bhd, Datuk Wira Tan Bee Geok.
  • Visionary Arts and Cultures Award: Managing Director of Jazzy Group, Goh Poi Leng (Joanne Goh).
