KUCHING: Santubong MP Datuk Seri Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar presented various forms of assistance including the minor rural project (MRP) grants to recipients in the Tanjung Datu constituency recently.
The presentation ceremony was held at Dewan Mahligai Gading, Lundu last Saturday (July 4).
Also present were Tanjung Datu assemblywoman Datuk Amar Jamilah Anu, Lundu District officer Gustian Durani, Pemanca Benjamin Gersit Rasit and Pemanca Lo Sin Li.
Wan Junaidi, who is also the Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister, said nine recipients received medical donations, six education assistance while three received wheelchairs and six the MRP grants.
The assistance and grants involved a total amount of RM36,900.
“I hope the recipients will make good use of the donations to lessen their burden,” he said in his Facebook post on Sunday (July 5).
