KUCHING: The announcement of the Sarawakku Sayang Special Aid Package has proven that the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) state government is concerned about the welfare of Sarawakians affected by the movement control order (MCO), said Sarawak Cuepacs (CNS) chairman Ahmad Malie.
“CNS hopes this would be able to reduce the burden of people who are greatly affected,” he added.
As for providing dedicated support of food supplies to physicians and practices on the frontlines, Ahmad said he hoped the food provided would be sufficient in terms of nutritional value to effectively provide energy for the recipients.
“(CNS) prays and hopes that the frontliners would continue to stand strong and prevail in facing this challenge.
“I urge the people to abide by the rules of the MCO wholeheartedly for the betterment of all in curbing the effects of this disease,” he added.
Meanwhile, Ahmad also expressed his gratitude towards the state government for their continuous efforts in mitigating the spread of the Covid-19 virus and their concern towards the people.
