SRI AMAN: Hospital Sri Aman (HSA) will hold its Open Day this coming Saturday (Sept 21) at HSA II starting at 8.30 am, with the objective of promoting the importance of healthcare awareness.
The HSA open day aims to raise public awareness about its role in community well-being, educate individuals on personal responsibility for their health, and inspire the younger generation to explore careers in the medical field.
Members of the public will have the opportunity to visit over 30 health booths, gain insights into the hospital’s diverse healthcare services and information about various treatments.
The open day will feature a range of exciting activities, including free health screenings, dental check-ups, a blood donation drive, health exhibitions, quizzes, food stalls, and the HSA Run 2024.
Over 200 students from local schools, along with teachers, association representatives, NGOs, and government agencies, are expected to participate in the event.
The opening ceremony will be officiated by Simanggang assemblyman, Datuk Francis Harden Holis. Also in attendance will be Johnichal Rayong Ngipa, assemblyman for Engkilili, and Datuk Peter Nyomek Nyeap, Political Secretary to the Premier of Sarawak, representing Datuk Seri Doris Sophia Brodi, Member of Parliament for Sri Aman.
The public in Sri Aman and nearby areas are encouraged to attend the HSA open day, to benefit from free health check-ups and explore various healthcare services. Admission for the event is free.
