Fashion brand AllSaints is boosting its fragrance offering with the launch of two new scents. The British label has unveiled ‘Flora Mortis’ and ‘Leather Skies’ — bringing its total fragrances up to five, following the launch of a trio of debut perfumes last year. According to the brand, “each scent pays tribute to the dichotomies that exist within the brand, and mirror the juxtapositions that exist within the consumer’s own life.”
“Flora Mortis and Leather Skies inspire our global community to express their individual style, creative impulses and unique identity — adding further depth to the AllSaints fragrance collection,” said Wil Beedle, the brand’s Chief Creative Director, in a statement.
The new duo comes presented in the same packaging as the first three scents: classical bottles featuring concrete caps. The scents will roll out at AllSaints boutiques in the UK, US and Canada, as well as online and at select boutiques globally.
The brand’s inroads into the fragrance industry follow a new partnership with the beauty giant Revlon, which was revealed last year. “We are thrilled to partner with AllSaints and strive to translate their unique perspective on fashion to the world of scent,” said Serge Jureidini, President, Revlon, Elizabeth Arden and Fragrances at Revlon, at the time.
Fashion brands have been eager to tap into the fragrance industry recently — the luxury fashion house of Celine announced the launch of an ‘haute perfumerie’ scent collection developed under the artistic direction of Hedi Slimane last month, while WWD has reported that the designer Rebecca Minkoff is set to launch her debut perfume in 2020. – Relaxnews
