SERIAN: The Catholic Senior Citizens Fellowship (CSCF) of St. Theresa’s Parish Council here held its Annual General Meeting on April 8 to elect its Executive Committee members for the year 2018-2010 at the church hall here.
Petrus Laki was unanimously appointed as the Election Chairman after the existing Committee was dissolved in the meeting.
Rector Rev. Fr. Paul Herry was the Spiritual Advisor and the Chairman of Parish Council, Mr. Dennis Sung was the Advisor.
Other members were Chairman Alphonsus Naming (elected), Vice Chairman Harrison Lisem Kadom (elected), Secretary Tom Naar (re-elected), Treasurer Steven Kake (re-elected) and Committee Members: Joseph Then, John Sup, Louis Jamas, Andrew Daling, Edwin Bongkong Tarui, Anthony Taguk, Bernadine Chai and Betsy Ranyun.
In his speech after the election, Chairman Alphonsus Naming thanked everyone for their faith in electing him to lead CSCF and he appealed for continued support, co-operation and assistance from everybody to achieve success and joy in the days ahead.
He also thanked Jenner Menggu, the founder of CSCF Serian for his initiative and far-sightedness in forming CSCF to provide a platform for the senior citizens to help the church and others in the Parish in one way or another.
