MUKAH:  Balingian assemblyman Abdul Yakub Arbi urges students and staff of Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Three Rivers here to always
practise noble values in life.

He said no matter how sophisticated life is, the custom and cultures passed down by our ancestors should be accorded due attention.

“This will help the school’s effort in making SMK Three Rivers an excellent institution, in line with its vision,” he said when officiating at the school’s Form 6 students (pre-university) graduation ceremony at Tom Bazeley hall here yesterday.

Abdul Yakub noted that SMK Three River’s excellent history of success was something the local community could be proud of.

He added the school’s excellent performance in last year’s STPM examination should be maintained and further enhanced.

He hoped teachers and students would always work hard in their efforts to achieve continuous success in academic and co-curriculum.
