Aly Raisman is back with a new collection for Aerie. The Olympic gymnast has once again teamed up with the lingerie and fashion group on a new activewear collection set to be unveiled this week, WWD reports.

Dubbed ‘Aerie X Aly Raisman’, the series has been designed to promote body positivity, with some of the pieces featuring inspirational phrases such as ‘Trust Yourself’ and ‘Unapologetically Me’. A photo posted to Raisman’s Instagram account showcases a matching crop top and legging set in olive green and black, and reveals that the collection will launch officially on April 4, with the athlete calling the new launch “a dream come true”.

Aerie will donate 15 percent of the sales of the collection to a child sex abuse prevention non-profit organisation Darkness To Light, to the tune of $75,000. Gold medalist Raisman was famously one of the women to testify against the former USA gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar in court, as part of his sexual abuse scandal.

According to WWD, Raisman has designed the collection for everyone, “Wherever you’re working and whatever you do, whether you’re working in an office every day, or you’re working outside.”

Raisman and Aerie have been working together ever since she was invited up by the brand last year to act as an AerieREAL Role Model, alongside the actress Yara Shahidi, the singer-songwriter Rachel Platten and the body positive activist Iskra Lawrence.

The Olympian is the latest of several famous faces to put her spin on activewear: Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn was unveiled as an ambassador for Under Armour’s ‘Project Rock’ with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson last month, while musician Kelly Rowland launched a collection with Fabletics in January. – Relaxnews
