KUALA LUMPUR: Angkatan Koperasi Kebangsaan Malaysia Bhd (Angkasa) has expressed its support to the Entrepreneur Development and Cooperative Minister Datuk Seri Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his deputy Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsuddin.
Its president Datuk Abdul Fattah Abdullah in a statement today said Angkasa’s and more than 14,000 cooperatives in the country are confident the minister and his deputy will perform their duty in advancing the country’s cooperative movement.
“Angkasa is confident the close cooperation with the ministry will be further empowered to increase the contribution of the cooperative sector to the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and stimulate the socio-economic growth as well as helping the government in handling issues concerning the high cost of living,” he said. – Bernama
