MIRI: A local man is reported missing after his boat sank near Niah National Park this morning.
A team of firemen from Niah Fire and Rescue station have been mobilised to the scene, upon receiving a distress call on the incident at 12.03 pm.
Search and rescue teams are currently scouring the area in hopes of locating the missing angler.
The identity of the individual has not been released at press time.
It is made to understand that the victim had gone for prawn fishing in the area, alone that day.
