KUCHING: An angler who went fishing with his friends to Tanjung Po was rescued at 4am yesterday after suffering an asthma attack. The 45-year-old angler was fishing from a boat when he suffered an asthma attack.
MMEA (Malaysia Maritime Enforcement Agency) went to the location and took the angler to shore where he was taken to Sarawak General Hospital in an ambulance.
MMEA Safety Administration said that if anyone is facing emergency situations at sea he or she can call its hotline at tel: 082-432544 for them to take immediate action.
