KAPIT: Kapit Tai Chi Association held its annual general meeting (AGM) recently to elect the new board of directors for 2019 -2020 term.
At the AGM, Anita Wong was elected as the new chairperson of the association while incumbent chairman Ma Tian Kock was elected as vice chairman.
Among the new committee members were Lee Kung Chen as the secretary and assisted by Ma Bee Kuan. Lau Sui Nai is the treasurer and assisted by Ho Chew Ming. Other committee members are Kong Siew Won, Ting Soh Ing, Chieng Siau Tze, Lindong, Hu Le He, Sia Hua Eng, Lau Nguok Kui and Wong Siew Kiew.
On a separate matter, the chairman of the Kapit Coffee Shop and Restaurant Owners’ Association Ma Tian Ho, while chairing a committee meeting recently disclosed that the association had fixed Jan 10 to conduct its AGM.
According to Ma, the notice of meeting had been dispatched to all the members to remind them of the meeting.
The AGM on this coming Thursday evening commences at 7pm.
