KUCHING: One longhouse in Saratok district has been placed under the enhanced movement control order (EMCO) which started today.
Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) said that the EMCO will be enforced on Rumah Ribun, Sungai Klampai in Saratok until June 4.
It also declared the end of EMCO at two apartment blocks in Bintulu namely Blok L, Flat Sungai Plan and Blok B, Institut Pendidikan Kidurong; Rumah Jerukan Bom, Sungai Tissey, Jalan Ulu Pandan in Sebauh; and Rumah Salleh Sabang, Ng Bena, Ulu Anap in Tatau.
The other four longhouses that also ended its EMCO today are Rumah Atom, Nanga Dendang in Pakan; Rumah Jagan, Sungai Mador, Bintangor in Meradong; and two longhouses in Sarikei namely Rumah Papit, Sungai Kuap Nyelong as well as Rumah Lat, Sungai Anggie atas Bayong.
