KUCHING: The Sarawak wushu team continue to contribute medals to the home state at the 21st Malaysia Games (SUKMA).
This time around, Fong Chai Xin won silver in the women’s gunshu with a score of 9.496.
Meanwhile, her competitor from Melaka collected 9,603 while Pulau Pinang scored 9,486 winning the gold and bronze medals respectively.
Commenting on her winning, Fong said she was satisfied with her win as she did not make any mistakes in her performance.
“However, I will train extra hard for the next SUKMA in the hope that I will be able to contribute gold for Sarawak,” she said.
