KUCHING: The Asia Pacific Green Hydrogen Conference & Exhibition (APGH) 2024 is now open for registration.
Organised by Borneo Business Connect Sdn Bhd, in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and Environmental Sustainability and supported by Business Events Sarawak (BESarawak), the APGH 2024 will be held at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) from June 10 to 12.

As Sarawak positions itself as the strategic hub for green hydrogen production and development, Energy and Environmental Sustainability Deputy Minister Datuk Dr Hazland Abang Hipni emphasised the crucial role of green hydrogen in decarbonising the global economy.
“With abundant natural resources, strong political stability, and a commitment to successful project commissioning and operations, Sarawak aims to attract international investments and become a destination of choice for green hydrogen projects.
“APGH 2024 is set to be a flagship event, combining knowledge sharing, business opportunities, and in the exploration of groundbreaking clean energy solutions,” he said.
Meanwhile, Borneo Business Connect chairman Tan Sri Asmat Kamaludin, expressed his enthusiasm for APGH 2024.
“We anticipate this event to be a catalyst for new projects, investments, and partnerships. The conference and exhibition will create opportunities for businesses to network, showcase innovative solutions, and contribute to the growth of the global green hydrogen industry,” he said.
He stated that APGH 2024 anticipates drawing a diverse and global audience, projecting to host 100 exhibitors, 500 conference delegates, 42 speakers and 4,000 trade visitors.
He revealed that the conference will see trade and delegate participation from several countries notably Japan, Korea, Nordic Region, Chile, Brazil, Germany, Italy, Spain with more countries expected to join soon.
“APGH 2024 not only promises economic growth and job creation in Sarawak but will provide a conducive platform for young entrepreneurs to participate in the clean energy transition,” he said.
