DALAT: The Civil Defence Force (APM) of Dalat district hosted an Aidilfitri Fellowship Ceremony which was attended by about 100 people held at
the D’Sanglau Hall in Kuala Hilir Oya here, today.

The director of Sarawak Civil Defence, YS PPj (PA) Mohtar Samat, expressed gratitude to the Sarawak government and the Dalat district office for providing a space for the presence of APM Dalat to gather and celebrate the ceremony.

“Not only that, cooperation from the district disaster agencies can further strengthen our relationship,” he said in his speech at the event.

Expanding further, he said, APM and disaster agencies also assist and need each other.

“Our goal is only one and the same, which is to help the community regardless of whether it’s during disasters or emergencies.

“Because of this, APM Sarawak aims to expand and establish the presence of APM in all districts throughout Sarawak with District office administrations,” he explained.
