SRI AMAN: A family in Kampung Hulu Lemanak here was surprised to find that a monitor lizard (biawak) has entered their house around noon yesterday.
A family member then immediately contacted the Sri Aman APM (Civil Defence Force) office to help them catch the repitle.
“We received a call from Ibrahim Kipli at 12.17pm regarding the apprearance of a montor lizard in their house at Kampung Hulu Lemanak.
“Following the call, Corporal (PA) Mugi Utomo and Lans Corporal (PA) Sprin Joe were dispatched to the scene to catch the reptile.
“After about 10 minutes, our personnel managed to capture the metre long monotor lizard in the living room of the house which was later taken to our operation room at 12.32pm for further action,” said Captain (PA) Siti Huzaimah Ibrahim.
Siti also advised members of the public to immediately contact Sri Aman APM at tel: 083-320973 should they face any emergency situation.
