MIRI: A team from the Miri Civil Defence Force (APM) yesterday rescued a terrified cat stuck in a tree in the Taman Tunku residential area.

APM Miri, in a report, said the cat was spotted by its 18-year-old owner hanging 20 feet up a tree and unable to get down. She called APM for help after making several unsuccessful attempts to retrieve the feline.

“Upon receiving a distress call about the incident at 11.15 am, we sent our men to the scene,” said the APM

At the scene, the men  used a ladder to rescue   the cat before handing it over to the owner.
