LAWAS: Entrepreneurs of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are called to apply for the new Covid-19 financial aid package under the Sarawakku Sayang Special Assistance (BKSS) 5.0 which was announced by Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg.
Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan said a total of RM3.14 billion was allocated by the state government to cushion the impact of the reinstatement of the conditional movement control order (CMCO).
“The chief minister had also approved RM141.70 million under the fifth edition of the BKSS,” he said at the presentation ceremony of the donation for the underprivileged in Lawas.
He also reminded those who will be celebrating Chinese New Year to follow the standard operating procedures (SOPs) strictly and take necessary precautionary measures to prevent any further spike of Covid-19 cases.
