KUCHING: All permit applications for organising activities and the putting up of advertisement or banner must be applied at least seven working days before the date of the activities and advertisement being put on.
Kuching North City Commission (DBKU) in statement on Tuesday (Nov 3) said the new procedure came into effect since Nov 1.
It said the permit application for temporary activities must be attached with supporting documents such as completed permit application form; supporting letter; permit from the police; approval letter from the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) including the location plan and tent sketch.
While the permit application for putting up the temporary advertisement, applicants must also submit the completed permit application form and visual sketches of the advertisement that have been verified by Dewan Bahasa and Pustaka.
Applicants are advised to comply with the latest procedure to avoid any inconvenience and delays in processing the permit approval.
