KUCHING: Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) Global on Monday (May 10) presented Hari Raya cookies to various media organisations here.
On hand to present more than 30 bags filled with cookies to media practitioners at New Sarawak Tribune (NST) and Suara Sarawak (SS) were Unimas Global Strategic Communication and Branding’s deputy director Dr Ernisa Marzuki and her team.
The cookies were received by NST and SS chief operating officer Mohd Sardon Zainal.
“They are appreciation gifts. We want to say thank you to all and Selamat Hari Raya to those who are celebrating,” explained Dr Ernisa.
According to Unimas Global’s website, Unimas Global was established in 2017 with the merging of the Chancellery Office and the International Affairs Division.
It plays an important role in the university’s event management, protocol, promotions, branding and corporate relations activities.
The International Office’s role in building strategic connections around the globe as well as promotional activities is also incorporated to ensure Unimas remain strong and relevant globally.
