The talent behind ‘The Peak’ is Joseph Sim of AJ Architects, the firm involved in the design of this icon.
He said he was driven by Naim’s aspiration to create a landmark in Bintulu.
He said the inspiration came from the exploration of how the functional features of typical tropical housing can be applied to create indoor and outdoor spaces stacked vertically in the sky.
Sim has been involved in numerous major projects in Sarawak, including the Kidurong Setia township in Bintulu and multiple industrial developments in Samalaju.
Through the Riverbank Suites in Kuching, he was a pioneer in condominium developments in the state.
