MIRI: A 43 year-old man was detained on Tuesday morning for allegedly pushing his sister during a commotion over a television inside their rented house at Jalan Malva, Sungai Baong Krokop here.
The victim, aged 38, was injured on her forehead in the incident.
Prior to the commotion, the suspect had gone into the house to get the TV set but was restrained by his sister.
An argument between the two siblings ensued during which the brother pushed his sister to the ground.
The suspect was arrested by police personnel after his sister lodged a report.
The case is being investigated under Section 506 of the Penal Code for criminal intimidation.
