KUCHING: The Sarawak Arts Council is offering art guidance classes to help the younger generation hone their talents in the fields of dance, traditional and modern music, theatre and painting.
Workshops in each field will be held every Saturday, namely Basic Painting, Basic Theatre, Basic Vocal, Basic Dance, Basic Traditional Music, Traditional Music- Iban, Melanau, Bidayuh and Orang Ulu.
Field workshops will be held every Sunday on the Basics of Modern Music (Violin, Guitar and Piano).
The council’s Art Academy and Capacity Division, meanwhile, has held a certificate presentation ceremony for 500 participants.
Also present were Dayang Mariana Abang Bolhassan, CEO of Sarawak Arts Council, Vice Principals of SMK Asajaya, Helly Bajik Suai and Addrawati Nubung.
